Yangmingshan National Park
It situated in the mountainous region of Taipei and New Taipei, is renowned for its volcanic activity, hiking routes, diverse wildlife, cascading waterfalls, soothing hot springs, and sulfuric vents.
The Qingtiangang trail, spanning 6.9 kilometers on the Shilin side of Yangmingshan, is considered a moderately challenging path, typically requiring around two and a half hours to complete. Qingtiangang boasts breathtaking vistas of Yangmingshan and is undeniably one of the park’s most frequented spots.
This expansive grassland is perched atop an ancient lava terrace and serves as the habitat for wild water buffalo, also known as Asian buffalo. The trail is well-suited for both hikers and runners and is an excellent choice for families, allowing dog owners to bring their pets.

Bitan Scenic Area
Bitan, located in the Xindian District of New Taipei, is a serene section of the Xindian River. It’s also referred to as Bitan Lake or Bitan Scenic Area, with its name translating to "green lake." Additionally, it‘s known as Chibi Lake, Shibi Lake, and Shishan Big Lake. Bitan offers a range of recreational activities such as biking, paddle boating, hiking, and shopping at Xindian Old Street.
This picturesque spot is one of Taiwan’s eight renowned attractions, conveniently close to MRT Xindian station, making it an ideal destination for weekend relaxation. The Xindian River, a tributary of the Tamsui River, meanders through Bitan, featuring terraces, ponds, and sandbars along its banks.

You can easily reach out to them to make an order their items. Personally, I have a strong longing for their butter cookies, cakes, and savory dishes. In my view, the vegan cakes they produce are unmatched in quality!
